Self portraits

An ongoing practice of self-portraits runs in parallel to my other projects. Like a visual diary, these images are a means of expressing my emotions and thoughts without words. This practice is a space where I can be most sincere and honest with myself, which helps pour sincerity into all my other endeavours.

This series was exhibited at Tam gallery in Cairo in 2020, The Palace of arts in Cairo in 2019 and Mahmoud Mokhtar Museum in Cairo in 2017.
